The Danish Road and Bridge Museum is a singular spatial experience situated in a field near Holbæk. The building will accommodate the activities of the museum, disseminating the history of Danish roads and bridges. It introduces a modern exhibition facility where landscape, building and exhibition connect seamlessly, in the beautiful surroundings at Nyvang,
Holbæk outside Copenhagen. The Museum’s minimal and sculptural form creates a contrast to the lush and rounded landscape while the rich texture of the rusty steel cladding makes the building extremely contextual on the site.
