Magic House - climate friendly nursery
The new climate-friendly nursery in Solrød, south of Copenhagen, is designed as a flexible building for 8 groups of children with plenty of space for play and learning. The nursery is a low energy class 1 building, offering a good indoor climate with plenty of natural light.
"The Magic House" is situated on one of the "landscape islands" in a forestry area of Solrød. The building is square, with two "fragments" connecting the central common room with a ramp to the south and the playground to the north. All groups are placed either towards the east or west.
